Constitution and support of the innovation teams is vital from inception, to presentation and right through to the end of the incubation process.
To that end, sponsors and/or mentors are assigned to personnel if necessary. Where submitters have sufficient skills and experience to develop, present and implement a 100 day innovation plan, mentors are not necessary. However, if this is not the case then a mentor may be assigned as a subject matter expert to provide advice throughout the process.
In addition to this, the internal financial manager, operations manager, project managers, technical specialists etc are available to advise submitters during the development of their development proposals.
As the program matures it is also envisaged that mentors and sponsors are sought externally to support the business incubation process.
