Engagement Models

Project Ownership

Where we take on the 'prime contractor' role and overall responsibility for delivery of the project of program. Commercial engagement is typically on a defined outcome basis (deliverables) for an agreed cost.

Component Delivery

Where we take on responsibility for delivery of a certain aspect of the project such as a working piece of software or a specific work steam such as application integration. Commercial engagement might range from a time and materials basis through to fixed price, depending on the nature of the work and its degree of autonomy.

Resource Augmentation

Where we provide skilled resources on a time and materials basis to work along aside client resources and/or other delivery partners.

Consulting

Where we work with you and your team to help review and improve practices. Engagements can be for a short as a few days through to as long as needed.

Variations are possible for these engagement models

Working Location

Regardless of the delivery model, our consultants can work onsite with the client, offsite at Industrie IT or a combination thereof. We also have extensive experience working with offshore development teams.

Collaboration Models

We can take a leading role in delivering the work, or we can work with your existing team and help ensure their success in delivery. Either way, we can make training and knowledge transfer part of the scope of the engagement, so that your team can own the final result.

Change Management

Evolving and improving the delivery methodology of your existing team can be an important aspect of our engagement. We can help to train your team on software delivery best practise and adapt one or more methodologies (Scrum, FDD, waterfall, etc.) to your culture and environment.

Tactical Initiatives

Are often required to address immediate business needs. Working within strategic guidelines we can quickly produce working solutions that demonstrate real business value.
